GPS rides, routes, and optional video

Record routes, speed, distance, time, and ascent on your iPhone, then review maps, charts, and personal highlights in one place. Plan a route, track progress, share a poster, and turn on the camera only when you want footage.

  • Recording, sync, and sharing have clear data boundaries. Capabilities depend on what the app offers; review the privacy preview before sharing.

Record, reflect, share

A camera is not a prerequisite for a ride. Data comes first; video is an enhancement you choose.

  • Start the next ride: Choose data-only recording or enable the camera. Select a saved route if you have one; a complete ride does not need footage.
  • Record with less interruption: Use live stats and route cues while GPS and ride data are stored locally first.
  • See what you achieved: Open the unified ride detail for maps, metrics, and charts, then save a route, share a poster, or create a video manually.

Go beyond footage. Understand your progress.

Connect a GPS ride with routes, lasting habits, and a story worth sharing. Newer capabilities depend on the installed version.

  • GPS rides and live dashboard: Record distance, moving/total time, speed, ascent, and route without camera or microphone. Calories are explicitly estimates.
  • Route planning and GPX: Plan rides, save history as routes, import/export GPX, and follow a selected route. Search, waypoint editing, and route recovery vary by version.
  • History, goals, and personal records: Review maps and charts in one ride detail and explore weekly/monthly progress, goals, familiar routes, and real personal records.
  • Posters and manual video: Preview map/end-point protection before sharing. Enhance chosen footage with Sport, Minimal, or Map data overlays.
  • Accounts, public routes, and groups: Sync summaries and private routes, explore public routes, and replay group rides. Public-event names and GPS replay are visible to other signed-in users.
  • Clear data boundaries: Analytics is a separate choice; video is not backed up with summaries. Group samples and public copies have distinct boundaries. AI highlights and automatic reels have been removed.

Three dashboard styles

Choose the right data expression for the route, platform, and mood of the clip.

  • Sport: A prominent live speed readout with distance, time, average, and grade.
  • Minimal: A slim translucent stat pill that keeps the footage center stage.
  • Map: A follow-me minimap with an Apple-style cursor and compact bottom stats.

Privacy starts in the architecture

Original ride video and audio are not automatically backed up with account summaries. Accounts sync summaries, goals, profiles, and privately saved routes. Groups upload replay samples, while public routes/events and recent riders can expose location or identity. PostHog requires separate consent; feedback sends data only on active submission. Read the policy for scope and deletion boundaries.
